Phase One ~ Rescue Cottage

Phase one is a $1 million phase project which will complete the site work for most of the project and will build the initial Rescue Cottage. This cottage will become a model home that will combine design features of the future dog homes and cat cottages, which will comprise much of the fully constructed $5 million sanctuary. 

This building will also be practical and functional, creating the cage-free, comfortable, home-like environment necessary for the mental and emotional health, socialization and rehabilitation of the resident animals.

The Rescue Cottage will also serve as an adoption center, providing an inviting and warm environment for people to meet and fall in love with their new family companion.

While subsequent phases will offer species specific housing, this two-level home will combine canine and feline living in one structure (dogs on one level;  cats on another) saving over 180 cats and dogs from euthanasia each year.  Eventually it will become the sanctuary’s caretaker home.
