If you are grieving for a deceased pet, or know someone else who is, Our Companions has a wonderful way for you to create a memorial and receive condolences, all while helping other animals in need. The Memorial Donations program consists of an on-line posting board for owners who have lost their pets. You can post a memorial to your pet and make a donation to help other animals in your pet's memory. Then, you can send an automated e-mail to invite your friends to join you in making donations and posting their condolences.

"When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know," says a famous poem, "and bury your sorrows in doing deeds. Miss me, but let me go." The author is unknown, but anyone who has lost a pet knows the sentiment very well. Participating in the Memorial Donations program is a tangible way to bury your sorrows by creating a living legacy of love for your pet.
